XCEL ADVANCED WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS

Trident Water has developed a robust, innovative integrated advanced wastewater treatment using XCEL-MBR membrane bioreactor technology, XCEL-BADAO dissolved air oxidation technology and MOBIBCEL bioreactor technology to produce a reliable, high quality effluent that meets or exceeds the world’s most stringent effluent quality standards in municipal and industrial wastewater applications. The combined technologies allows high biomass concentrations and sludge retention times which increased efficiency and effectiveness to treat widely varying influents of high organic loadings, high suspended solids and recalcitrant compounds while still supplying excellent effluent discharge water quality. In addition, the combined technologies tested and proven to offer several significant advantages over a conventional activated sludge system and sequencing batch reactor as presently being used for industrial wastewater, such as less surplus sludge, high organic loading treatment and particle free-effluent.

Trident Water’s XCEL-MBR Series ultrafiltration (UF) membrane bioreactor system is a compact, modular, expandable systems with an exceptional small foot for easy operation, service and maintenance. The UF membrane uses external cross flow type tubular hollow fibres where the absolute pore size of 30nm form a physical barrier for removal of particulate matter including colloids, solids and microorganisms.

Trident Water’s MOBIBCEL aerobic and anaerobic wastewater systems are designed for biological wastewater treatment of both industrial and municipal wastewater. MOBIBCEL-AERO is designed primarily for BOD, COD and nutrient removal while the anaerobic MOBIBCEL-ANA is designed for treatment of organic and highly biodegradable wastewaters. MOBIBCEL is designed for used as a standalone installation or adaptable with various system configurations for a wide range of wastewater types.
