The Bacfree® ER Series media filters (for
household) and IC Series filter (for commercial) are developed and designed
as a cost effective, efficient and reliable way to primarily address the
aesthetic water problems and impurities such as the sediment, colour and
turbidity at the water sources. The filters will meet your varying water
filtration needs and ensure the highest quality, ease of operation and
maintenance. The filters can be custom designed and pre-engineered to
meet any of the specific application requirements.

- Model numbers identify individual filter vessel size diameter
(first set of number) and number of tanks per system (last set of number).
End of model number “A” -automatic system, “M” -manual system; “SF”
–single media filter; “DF”-dual media filter; “MMF” –multi medium filter;
“CF”-activated carbon filter; “SOFTIX” water softener filter. Filters
may be specified either automatic or manual backwash control.
- Design flow range based on a Bacfree standard filtration
range guideline of 24-61m3/hr/m2 (10-25USgpm/ft2). Models also available
at higher flow rates. Selection of flow depends on the influent feed
water quality, effluent filtered water requirements and applications,
please consult factory.
- Recommended operating pressure range for best filtration
performance is 20-80psi (1.5- 5.5 bar). please consult factory. Maximum
operating temperature range 50°C. For higher operating pressure and
operating temperature requirements, please consult factory. Single System
and multi-system can be configured and custom made to accommodate specific
spacing/footprint requirements.
